Welcome to the NGI-LSU Data Archive. The goal of the NGI-LSU Data Archive is to provide a fast, effective, and easy to use platform that facilitates data storage, data management, and data access. Currently the NGI-LSU Data Archive collects data entries from over 11 ongoing projects as well as additional data sets from other ecological field sites in Louisiana.

Data Archive
From here you can search data from the data archive.The archive allows data browsing and data downloads. If you are not an NGI-LSU researcher, you may search the archive, but you will have access only to public data.
Each NGI-LSU data set is provided with an accompanying metadata file.  Metadata is information about the data.  The metadata files contain documentation about the data and answer the who, what when, where, why, and how detail questions of the data being documented.

Data Upload
This is an internal section for NGI-LSU researchers to upload new data to the data archive. You need a password to enter the upload page. Please contact ngi@lsu.edu.

NGI-LSU Data Policies
The NGI-LSU Information Management Policies and Documents includes specific sections regarding the release of NGI-LSU data products, the access of data, and the agreements specifying the conditions for data use.  By downloading and using data collected by NGI-LSU researchers, the user agrees to the terms of our Data User Agreement.
