Pete L. Lenaker
Profile
P.L. LenakerWorking Group:
Breton Sound Surveys
Education:
M.S. Student, Louisiana State University, 2007 - present; B.S. Western Washington University, 2006
Research Interests:
Broad interest in estuarine/coastal & wetland ecosystems, Biogeochemistry, Stable isotope ecology, and water quality issues. I investigate the relationship between nitrogen biogeochemical processes and changing environmental conditions in both wetland & coastal ecosystems. In particular, the research focuses on gradients in temperature and overlying nitrate concentrations and the influence these have on temporal and spatial variations in denitrification rates determined using the Isotope Pairing Technique.
